| Beschreibung der Tätigkeit | What are the tasks? - Support in the preparation of interactive trainings, meditative consultations, advocacy projects, and assessment visits to the region - Conducting research on specific conflict topics such as: anti-discrimination, mechanisms for inter-community dialogue, gender in conflict, etc. - Research current events/news on conflict regions - Organizational support for the office and administration - Support in fundraising, including research on potential donors, donor applications, setting up of appointments |

| Institution | CSSProject for Integrative Mediation (Assistance to Project Management) Who we are CSSP’s purpose is to empower local leaders to resolve the issues of concern in their multi-ethnic municipality that are straining inter-community relations. We do this by developing tailor-made mediation processes that apply the CSSP methodology called Integrative Mediation. We are a dynamic team with members of different nationalities and backgrounds, working together in a professional, yet relaxed environment. Our main office is in Berlin, and we also have field offices in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia. www.cssproject.org |

| Voraussetzungen | What qualifications and skills are needed? - University degree (minimum BA) in international relations or conflict resolution - Interest in the Western Balkan region; background information on the Caucasus region or Sri Lanka a plus. - Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus (helpful but not necessary), in particular Albanian, Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian or Serbian. - Knowledge of how to conduct internet research, and capable of using the Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Power Point). Other computer skills a plus. - University student, preferably beyond Zwischenprüfung / Bachelor Degree - Being flexible, motivated, professional, and dynamic |

| Allgemeine Bemerkungen | What CSSP offers: - Learning experience in a team of professional mediators. - Stipend of 150,- EUR per month. - Involvement in different phases of project management: project design, proposal, preparation, implementation (incl. trip to the field if appropriate) and evaluation. - Excellent recommendation upon successful completion of the internship. |
