• Work with the Communications officer in the formulation and implementation of new media and web strategies
• Audio/Video recording and editing for webcasts
• Research materials from UNDP intranet and other sources for publication on the website
• Assist in other outreach related activities of the office

Voraussetzungen Required Skills and Experience
• Strong Dreamweaver and HTML knowledge
• Knowledge of PHP, CSS and/or XML
• Sound knowledge of video integration (including flash player plug-in integration with social media)
• Audio/Video recording and editing experience
• New Media skills (website integration and strategy)
• Web design experience
• Graduate student with interest in international development and/or global communication


The following minimum qualifications are required:

• Enrollment in a graduate-level degree programme in a development related field such as economics, public or business administration, or environmental studies. Only those students who will return to their studies upon completion of their internship assignments are eligible.
• Demonstrated interest in the field of development.
• Language skills: written and spoken proficiency in English.
• An interest in global mobility; adaptability to varied physical and other environments; a desire to work with and gain the confidence and respect of people with different language, national and cultural backgrounds.
• Respect for the principles of the United Nations Charter and the UNDP Statement of Purpose.
